**Note** new module that works on newer distros at setaccountcode 2.5.1

FreePBX has the capability to set account codes on its calls so that they can be used in CDRs to identify where calls go/comefromt etc. however the only place i could find them used was in the billing module which frankly i have no interest in using. I rather just see which clients are calling.

I found a CALLERID module that does something very similar to what i wanted but in a differnt area… it SET the CID to something… I want it to set the ACCOUNT CODE to something.

So a little bit of modification i was able to create a setaccountcode module.

Download Set Account Code

Usage:

Simple create account codes and where to send them, and then point calls through it.
this is GREAT for marketing to see where calls are comming from (if you have differnt calls on differnt marketing stock)
